Provides information on sex offenders including Internet access to maps showing the location of registered sex offenders in California.

Office of the Attorney General, State of California, Department of Justice
This website provides information on protecting yourself and your family from child molesters as well as information on registered sex offenders.

Rape Crisis Hotline

24 hour hotline for confidential counseling with a trained sexual assault victim counselor who can give you information on reporting to the police, and about hospital and legal procedures. The Rape Crisis Center will also provide counselor advocates to accompany you to the hospital or court.

Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office
This website describes how the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office handles criminal cases involving sex crimes including child sexual abuse cases. The site also offers links to the Victim-Witness Assistance Program, the Victim Impact Program and contains a list of local sexual assault hotlines. In addition, the website has downloadable pamphlets on sexual assault, child abuse and child abuse reporting.
